Jayalalithaa lashes out at MK sons
Madurai, Oct. 18: “There are two governments functioning in Tamil Nadu today — one from Chennai led by the DMK chief, Mr M. Karunanidhi and his son, Mr M.K. Stalin and another from Madurai, with his another son, Mr M.K. Alagiri, at its helm,” said the AIADMK chief, Ms J. Jayalalithaa, on Monday.
“If Mr Stalin has to visit Madurai, he has to seek a visa from his brother Mr Alagiri,” she said to thundering applause from the crowd that gathered for her protest meeting.
She also accused Mr Karunanidhi of having tried to chase her out of politics. “There was even an attempt to kill me. Today, I am before you because I proudly say that I have the ‘brave heart’ and not Mr Alagiri, who is a coward,” she said. Attacking Mr Alagiri, she said if he was the “chief minister” of south TN, his associates, most of them accused in criminal cases, were acting like ministers.
