Jharkhand: 7 policemen killed in Maoist attack, say reports
Ranchi: In another deadliest attack by maoists, the ultras reportedly gunned down 7 policemen in an attack on Pakur SP's cavalcade on Tuesday.
The attack on Pakur SP Amarjit Balihar's convoy took place in Kathikund jungles. Balihar was on his way to Pakur after attending a meeting in Dumka, said sources.
Balihar, his driver and three security guards were reportedly among the killed.
This latest incident brought back memories of the May 25 attack in Chhattisgarh, in which 29 people, including top Congress leaders, were killed.
