Kanimozhi appears in CBI court for 2G scam

DMK MP Kanimozhi on Friday appeared before a special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court in connection with 2G spectrum allotment scandal in which she has been named co-accused. Managing Director of Kalaignar TV Sharad Kumar also appeared in court.

Several DMK MPs were present in the court at Patiala House complex. Kanimozhi, who is also Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi's daughter, and Sharad Kumar are amongst those named in the second chargesheet by the CBI.
