Prof. warning on oxytocin injection
AGE CORRESPONDENT
jaipur
Feb. 1: Though the Oxytocin injection used by milkmen in India helps them in improving the yield from their animals, a latest research reveals that it promotes human ethnocentrism and develops a tendency to view one’s group as superior. “We should control such injections as India is a complex society in terms of caste groups,” says Prof. Narpat Shekhawat, head of biotechnology unit, JNV University, Jodhpur.
The research has been published in the science journal Proceedings National Academy of Sciences.
