KCR, Kodandaram come under fire
Nellore: Nellore rural legislator Anam Vivekananda Reddy came down heavily against Telangana leaders KCR and Kodandaram for the bandh call given on Saturday in Hyderabad.
Speaking to newsmen here on Saturday he alleged that it was a cruel plan to deprive food and water to Seemandhra NGOs attending for ‘Save Andhra Pradesh’ programme.
In a sarcastic tone, he said that the Telangana agitation will start and stop as per the requirements of Telangana leaders because they manage this with the help of anti-social elements. He lambasted KCR and Kodandaram for raising questions over Seemandhra NGOs meeting in Hyderabad while reminding that Telangana leaders staged protests in Delhi.
He maintained that the agitation in Seemandhra is being handled by people and their support was the reason for the success of ‘Save AP’ meeting at Hyderabad on Saturday. He hailed CM Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana for backing the representation of Seemandhra leaders to Congress high command.
“YSR Congress is correcting its mistakes by extending support to Samaikyandhra,” Vivekananda Reddy said. He demanded that Chandrababu Naidu take back the letter he gave in favour of Telangana in the past.
