Nellore: The agitation against the move to bifurcate the state continues unabated with different associations, people’s forums and caste groups joining the stir every day.
Hizras joined the agitation against state bifurcation proposal at Nellore. They have performed mock marriage of KCR with a Hizra as part of the protest.
Students performed Palabhishekam (cleansing with milk) to the flex board of Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy lauding him for his views on division issue at Children’s Park.
Students JAC activists resorted to rasta roko on the national highway and also formed human chain near Annamayya circle.
TD cadres led by party politburo member and former minister Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy took part in an impressive rally taken out from V.R. College to NTR statue.
Teachers staged a protest at Sangam and Muslims participated in a rally at Podalakur and offered prayers on the road. Weavers taken out a rally at Venkatagiri and Samaikyandhra Students JAC participated in a silent rally covering their mouths with black cloth at Sullurpeta.
