Kochi owners get a reprieve, BCCI action off till Dec. 5
A decision on the future of the faction-ridden Kochi franchise has been deferred till December 5 after its warring owners struck a compromise.
Cricket board president Shashank Manohar announced in Nagpur Sunday after an IPL governing council meeting that the two factions had jointly submitted a new
ownership pattern in response to the board’s termination notice. The BCCI will now consult its lawyers.

Sixty-two Indian players will be up for auction for IPL-4 with skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar in the top bracket of cricketers valued at `1.84 crore. Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh are also in the premier tier.
