Lalu, Rabri booked for rule violation

Patna, Nov. 1: FIRs were on Monday registered against the RJD chief, Mr Lalu Prasad Yadav, and his wife, Ms Rabri Devi, for allegedly violating the model code of conduct by taking their security guards inside a booth of the Digha Assembly constituency here to cast votes in the Bihar Assembly polls. The returning officer said that according to the rules, a VIP was not allowed to take bodyguards or commandos within a radius of 100 metre of a booth.
