Lalu says marriage between JD(U) and BJP over
Taking a potshot at the NDA, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad on Friday claimed that the 'marriage' between JD(U) and BJP was over as the two allied had nothing common between them.
"The divorce between the JD(U) and the BJP is complete," he told reporters in reply to a question.
If indications were to be believed, it was only a matter of time JD(U) and BJP would go their separate ways, he said referring to the differences between the two parties over the prime ministerial candidate.
Criticising the Nitish Kumar government, Prasad said he would tour Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani and Sitamarhi districts from July 10 as part of the second stage of public awareness campaign to expose the 'failure' of the NDA government.
The farmers too were staring at bleak future due to shortfall of monsoon rains even as the state government has failed to put in place alternative sources of irrigation of kharif crops, including paddy, the RJD supremo said.
He lashed out at the NDA government making tall claims about development works and asked it to show a single example of work that it had carried out with its own resources and said that it was a common knowledge that all development had taken place during this regime had been with the central funds.
