LeT man involved in killing of two sisters killed
The Lashkar-e-Tayyaba militant, who was allegedly involved in the murder of two teenaged sisters in Sopore town of Baramulla district, was killed by security forces in the apple town on Sunday even a the search operation in the area entered the second day.
Wasim Ahmad Ganaie, who had taken shelter in an underground drainage system in Muslim Peer area of Sopore on Saturday, was killed in the wee hours on Sunday, officials said.

One more dies in Jodhpur hospital, toll 16

March 13: The death toll rose to 16 in Jodhpur’s Umaid Hospital on Sunday, when one Prem Kanwar died due to post-delivery complications.
The hospital said it was not a fresh case, her condition was critical since January 31. But the family members blamed the IV fluids for the death. “The complications developed after the woman delivered a baby. We put her on ventilator. She died today,” said Dr Arvind Mathur, superintendent of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, Jodhpur.

Snake dies after biting woman

March 13: A krait, a highly venomous snake, died reportedly after biting a woman in a Chhattisgarh village, official reports reaching here on Sunday said. According to the report, Gangali Bai (32), a resident of forested village of Dimli in Bastar district, was reportedly bitten by a six-foot-long krait, which slithered into her bedroom, early on Saturday morning. She immediately fell unconscious.
Later, the local forest officials identified the snake as krait and also found it dead.
