Lovers stripped, paraded naked, filmed in C’garh

In a replay of the recent shocking and shameful incident of molestation of a helpless girl by a mob at Guwahati, a “lover” couple was stripped, paraded naked and then filmed by a group of youth in the tourist town of Ratanpur in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district, nearly 120 km from here, the police said on Saturday.
The incident came to light after the MMS clip of the duo was circulated to a number of people in Raipur, including some local media men, by unidentified persons on Saturday, sparking an outrage across the state.
“The video in MMS clip shows a teenage girl, appears below 16, and her companion — a youth aged around 21 — being forced to strip and paraded naked by a group of miscreants. The girl’s pleadings to spare her did not move the unscrupulous youths, who were heard using foul language while taking the duo’s picture in their mobile phone cameras”, a senior police officer, who had gone through the five-minute MMS clip, told this newspaper.
However, the police was yet to ascertain when the incident took place and who the victims were.
When contacted, Bilaspur district superintendent of police (SP) Ratan Lal Dange said, “It is a serious matter. We have seized the MMS clip.”

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
