Mahesh Jethmalani quits BJP national executive committee
Son of renowned lawyer Ram Jethmalani, Mahesh Jethmalani has quit the Bharatiya Janata Party National Executive Council. He has written a letter to BJP president Nitin Gadkari over corruption.
In Jethalmani's letter he also said it is 'morally and intellectually inappropriate to be in the NEC till Nitin Gadkari is the party president'.
This comes amidst charges of irregularities in the funding of Gadkari's Purti group. Earlier, Mahesh's father Ram Jethmalani, who is also a BJP leader, had demanded Gadkari's resignation over the allegations against him.
