Malayalam film stars to form T-20 cricket team for next CCL

Malayalam movie stars plan to form a cricket team to participate in the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) T20 tournament.

The decision in this regard was taken at the meeting of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) on Sunday.

At least 10 actors have already evinced interest in being members of the team, AMMA President and actor Innocent said.

Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada actors had participated in this year's CCL season, which ended this month.

AMMA has also decided to increase the monthly financial aid to veteran actors to Rs 4,000 from the present Rs 2,500. Sixty senior actors of yesteryears are being given this aid.
