Man eater leopard trapped in Nashik

A man eater leopard, which attacked a old tribal woman in Sinnar taluka here last week, has been finally trapped, forest officials said on Thursday.

The forest officials had to replace its cage with a stronger one as it was damaged by young leopard.

The wild cat which is five-year-old, and weighs 50 kgs, was brought to Sinnar's forest garden after it escaped and attacked the woman, said forest officer N.D. Navale.

The woman--Kashabai Ughade-- was killed at Waghdarawadi and Rs two lakh was paid as a aide to her kin.
