Man killed just before wedding

A man was shot dead hours before his marriage at Nowda in Berhmapore on Tuesday morning.
The would-be groom, Amrul Sheikh, 24, was allegedly killed by his ex-girl friend’s husband who was furious at him for maintaining an illicit relation with his wife.

Amrul’s marriage was scheduled to be held at Garibpur village in Domkal police station area on Tuesday afternoon. No one was arrested till the reports last came in.
In the morning, the girl called Amirual and asked him to meet her to decide upon their future. When he went to meet her, the girl’s husband Tajem Sheikh confronted him and deamnded an explanation. Soon an altercation broke out between the two and in a fit of rage, Tajem killed Amrul.
