Man kills paramour's 6-year-old son

A man allegedly strangulated to death a six-year-old son of a woman, with whom he had a relationship, police said today.

The child's mother was divorced by her husband three years back for having extramarital affair with the accused Karamjit, a resident of Shahbukar village.

In a police complaint, the woman alleged that her son was killed when she had gone to Karamjit's village to demand share from his property for her three children on the grounds that she was divorced due to her relations with him.

This agitated Karamjit, who in fit of rage strangulated the the woman's son who was playing nearby. The accused escaped from the spot after committing the crime.

A murder case has been registered against Karamjit Singh, police said today.
