Man murdered over Rs 50 in Uttar Pradesh

A fight over Rs 50 proved fatal for a technician who was stabbed to death by a milk dairy owner in the Sahibabad area of Ghaziabad on Saturday, police said.

Ravindra Jatav was stabbed to death by Saurabh as he had not paid Rs 50 for the milk he bought from Saurabh on credit, Senior Superintendent of Police Raghubir Lal.

Saurabh runs a milk dairy in Ali Prem Garden near Pasonda. To stop pestering by Saurabh over Rs 50, Ravinder went to his shop on Saturday with four friends and tried to threaten him.

"During the clash, both Ravindra and Saurabh took out knives and rained blows on each other," Lal said. Ravinder died due to excessive bleeding from wounds.

A murder case was registered against Saurabh.
