Maya hits out at SP, vows she’ll teach it lesson
Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati accused Uttar Pradesh’s Samajwadi government of political vendetta after hoardings put up by BSP workers for B.R. Ambedkar’s 122nd birth anniversary (on Sunday) were removed by the state government Saturday night. The former chief minister said: “The BSP is number one target for the Samajwadi Party, and our people are being targeted at all levels. When the BSP returns to power, we will teach them a lesson.”
The SP hit back swiftly, and said Ms Mayawati should realise “she will never come back to power in the state, and should learn to live with it”.

A music honours student of Delhi University’s Hindu College hailing from Manipur allegedly committed suicide by strangulating himself with a mobile phone charger in his hostel room Sunday.
In a two-page suicide note found in the hostel room, Chang Than Kirpa Singh, 21, wrote that he was not keeping well and was fed up with life. “He also wrote he was a disobedient son,” a police official said.
The body was first discovered by his roommate on Sunday morning. The victim’s father said he was being treated for depression.
