Maya transfers 12 IAS officials
The Mayawati government, late on Thursday night, transferred 12 senior IAS officers, including principal secretaries.
Principal Secretary, family welfare and medical education, Pradeep Shukla, who was removed from his post following irregularities in the department detected during CMO B.P. Singh murder case, has been posted as member (judicial) in the Revenue Board.
Principal Secretary Medical and Health, Neeta Choudhury, has been given additional charge of family welfare department.
Another principal secretary in the family welfare department, Prabhat Kumar Sarangi, was also relieved from the charge. He will continue to head the minority welfare department.
Chairman, administrative tribunal and Vigilance Commission, Jagan Matthews has also been relieved from the charge. He will now function as DG state rural institute while Stuti Narain Kakkar has been appointed as Chairman, administrative tribunal and Vigilance Commission.
