Mentally disturbed' man hammers wife to death

A 28-year-old woman was on Tuesday killed allegedly by her ‘mentally disturbed’ husband in Nai Colony area of the city, police said.

Poonam was attacked by her husband Anil Kumar in Kotwali area, they said.

Kumar used a hammer and inflicted severe injuries on Poonam's head, resulting in her death, police said, adding that the culprit has been arrested.
