MLA driver ‘flees’ with car, aK-47

The ruling BJP MLA from Dantewada, Bhima Mandavi, on Tuesday lodged a complaint with the local police stating that his driver “fled” with his (the legislator’s) vehicle along with an AK-47 assault rifle , belonging to his security guard two days ago.

According to the complaint, Avinash Bhadoria, the legislator’s driver, has gone missing since the night of September 11. The youth allegedly fled with the legislator’s Bolero jeep, in which the rifle was kept. There was no trace of him till Tuesday.
Meanwhile, one Uday, a truck driver was shot at near jagdarnal in Bastar district by an unidentified youth on Tuesday.
He was allegedly looted at gun point and then fired at. He was admitted in the district headquarters hospital at Jagdalpur.
