Mob beating kills Kerala youth

A mob in Kodiyathur, Kozhikode, allegedly beat to death a youngster who was, according to reports, found standing suspiciously near a house 'that had only ladies'.

Thelery Shaahid, 26, later succumbed to injuries on Sunday in one of the city's hospitals after the Wednesday incident.

Police, who rescued him from the mob, have filed case against unidentified persons following complaints from relatives of the deceased.
