Modi: cong bid to run parallel govt with gov
Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi on Sunday accused the Congress of trying to run a parallel government through the governor’s office, even as the state BJP passed a resolution seeking the recall of governor Kamla Beniwal.
“We have maintained silence since 2009 against the injustice by the governor’s office, in order to maintain its dignity and grace,” Mr Modi said while addressing a rally at Vastral, on the outskirts of the city.
Terming the Congress a burden on the country, Mr Modi said the Prime Minister was a good man “spoilt by the rot” in the party.
