‘Modi’s Communal Bureau of Instigation in next polls’

Information and broadcasting minister Manish Tewari on Friday reacted to Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi’s barb that the CBI will fight the next election, and asked whether by CBI he meant his “Communal Bureau of Instigation”.
“CBI, the Communal Bureau of Instigation, which is also referred as BJP... I am sure they will contest the next elections. So therefore, the chief minister of Gujarat at times is very candid in his confession. So we welcome his confession,” Mr Tewari said. Mr Modi had raised the issue of the “misuse” of the CBI in a Bhopal rally early this week and had said that CBI and not Congress candidates will be fielded in the next polls.
Mr Tewari said that it had only made evident the BJP’s double standards. “BJP should decide that they have faith in CBI or not. If judgment in Haren Pandya case is in their favour then CBI becomes very good and if judgment is not in their favour, then it becomes Congress Bureau of Investigation,” he said.
“Many organisations have suffered in last nine years due to BJP’s cheap politics.
