MP Cong plans protests against bjp
The main Opposition Congress has trained its guns and announced that it will leave no stone unturned to corner the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party during the coming Winter Session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly and the pressure will be mounted even outside by organising a week-long protest march prior to the Assembly session.
During the first meeting of the newly-constituted state Congress executive here on Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh Congress unit president Kantilal Bhuria, along with other senior party leaders, asked everyone in the party to remain united to fight the BJP. The state party chief said that protest demonstrations will be organised between November 14 and 19 at the district and block levels to expose the BJP-led state government’s “failure on every front”. At this meeting, AICC general secretary and in-charge of Madhya Pradesh affairs B.K. Hariprasad asked the state Congress vice-presidents and general secretaries to take up the responsibility of organising the protest demonstrations at the divisional and parliamentary constituency level.
