Munde: BJP will stall Parliament
BJP’s deputy leader in the Lok Sabha Gopinath Munde on Sunday said his party would not allow Parliament to proceed on Monday over the issue of FDI in the retail sector.
“The FDI in the retail sector will hit small retailers hard. We will not allow proceedings in Parliament to take place on Monday,” he said.
Targeting the Centre, Mr Munde said, “The UPA government had failed to curb corruption and contain price rise.” “The government does not want to discuss the rising inflation in Parliament. It is not taking any measures to contain it,” he added.
The BJP leader also spoke on the issue of black money stashed in foreign banks. “The BJP has demanded that the names of people who have black money in foreign banks be revealed, including the names of three MPs who have stashed black money abroad,” he said.
