Narayanasamy hits out at NDA
Union minister of state for PMO V. Narayanasamy on Tuesday took a dig at the BJP-led NDA for struggling to decide the strategy in the Presidential polls and also to finalise a candidate for the polls.
Addressing a meeting at the PCC office here, Mr Narayanasamy said that different voices were being heard from the BJP leaders for some time now and the party was struggling to take a firm decision on finalising NDA’s strategy or a candidate for the Presidential polls.
He said Union finance minister Pranab Mukherjee was the right choice as he was a senior and competent leader.
His experience and competency had been fully recognized by a good number of parties who had pledged support for his candidature and the prospect of his winning the election was very bright.
Mr Narayanasamy also criticised the ruling AINRC government in Puducherry for not fulfilling any of the poll promises and failing to implement welfare schemes.
He called upon the rank and the file of the Congress to spread out to rural areas where people are up in arms against the AINRC government as it has failed them and was taking the Union territory backwards.
The chief minister’s relief fund was being misused and beneficiaries were only from constituencies held by the ruling AINRC, he added.
