Naxal leader held in Bihar
A self-styled zonal commander of proscribed People's War Group was arrested by police from Madana village in Bihar's Patna district.
Superintendent of police(Rural) Manoj Kumar said acting on a tip off police raided the village and arrested the Maoist leader identified as Kamalkant late on Friday night.
Kamalkant is the self-proclaimed north area PWG zonal commander and was wanted in connection with several Maoist operations in Magadh division, the SP said. Police seized Rs 68,000 in cash and Maoist literature fom him, he added.
