New outfit formed to fight for Telangana cause

A new outfit to fight for separate Telangana was formed on Sunday with freedom fighter and prominent Telangana protagonist Konda Lakshman Bapuji as its leader.

Named ‘Telangana Movement Coordination Committee (TMCC)’, the organisation would include all Telangana supporters and outfits that are committed to the cause of separate statehood, Lakshman Bapuji told reporters here.

The TMCC was formed at a meeting attended by Telangana TDP leaders, Congress MLA Jupally Krishna Rao and several other Telangana supporters.

On the occasion, TDP's Telangana Forum Convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao said he and his colleagues are ready to sincerely work for the goal with the blessings of Lakshman Bapuji.
