‘No case against Achuta’s son’

The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau on Thursday submitted before the Kerala high court that a crime could not be registered against Mr V.A. Arun Kumar, son of Opposition leader V.S. Achuthanandan, based on the allegations levelled by the self-styled godman Santosh Madhavan. VACB superintendent of police, R. Radhakrishnan, said that materials gathered at this stage of the inquiry did not reveal anything incriminating against Mr Kumar. However, the VACB also sought permission to continue its probe.
