No-show by Left at meet on 2G scam

The meeting that was to have been held on Monday by Janata Dal (Secular) of non-NDA and non-UPA parties to discuss the 2G spectrum controversy got cancelled reportedly as the Left parties felt that the other parties that were invited for the meeting were not reliable.

Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda of the JD(S) had invited parties such as AIADMK, SP, RJD, RLD, BJD, RSP, Forward Bloc, CPI, CPI(M) and TDP to discuss and evolve a common strategy on the 2G spectrum imbroglio.
But it was cancelled just a few hours prior to the start of it.
