Notice for Diggy disrupts Assembly
There were noisy scenes in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly and the House was briefly adjourned on Thursday following a certain remark by state minister Narottam Mishra over a notice issued to Congress general secretary and former state chief minister Digvijay Singh besides others by the Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh high
court in response to a petition demanding a CBI probe into alleged irregularities in granting permission for the construction of a mall in Indore.
When Mr Mishra made a remark in this regard at the start of Zero Hour, the Speaker Ishwardas Rohani was prompt in expunging it from the proceedings. This did not pacify the Congress members. Some of them took the microphone, while most others from the Congress side rushed to the well of the House to lodge their protest.
While the Opposition members kept shouting in the well, Mr Mishra was joined by senior Cabinet colleague
