Pak marine agency apprehends 12 Indian fishermen
The Pakistan Marine Security Agency (PMSA) has apprehended 12 Indian fishermen and seized their three boats from the Indo-Pak maritime border off Jhakau coast in Gujarat's Kutch district, national fishermen forum secretary manish Lodhari said on Tuesday.
"The incident took place last evening when the Indian fishermen were fishing near the international maritime border in the Arabian sea," he said.
"The PMSA had apprehended 25 persons and seized their four boats, but later released 13 fishermen and one boat. The twelve fishermen and their three boats have been taken away to Karachi," Lodhari told PTI.
Earlier this month, 39 fishermen and nine boats were seized by the PMSA from near the Indo-Pak maritime border in two different incidents.
