Pak test-fires N-capable missile
Pakistan on Wednesday test-fired its Shaheen-1A Hatf 4 nuclear-capable ballistic missile, the military announced. A spokesman described it as a “intermediate-range ballistic missile capable of reaching targets in India”.
Military officials declined to specify the missile’s range. The test missile’s impact point was in the Indian Ocean.
The test comes less than a week after India tested a long-range missile capable of delivering nuclear warheads as far as Beijing and some parts of Europe. Pakistan had alerted India two days ago to direct all commercial airliners to steer clear of the testing area.

Germany for annotated Mein Kampf
London, April 25: Adolf Hitler’s autobiography Mein Kampf, not printed in Germany for the last 67 years amid fears that it might promote Nazism, is set to return to the country’s schools.
German authorities announced Tuesday that when the copyright to the hate-filled book expires in three years’ time, an “annotated” version will be made available to students across the country.
Mein Kampf, which translates as My Struggle or My Battle, combines elements of autobiography and Hitler’s political ideology. The state of Bavaria in Germany, which became heir to all of Hitler’s works, property and money following his suicide in Berlin in 1945, said it was important for Germany to publish versions for children with expert analysis, the Daily Mail reported. — PTI
