Pak troops fire at 6-8 Indian posts

In the most serious breach of truce in 2010, the Pakistan troops resorted to unprovoked heavy firing on around six to eight Indian forward posts in Krishna Ghati sector of Mendhar tehsil in Poonch district of Jammu region on Thursday morning.
BGS 16 Corps Headquarters Brigadier Satish Dua too confirmed the heavy volume of firing on Indian posts as a blatant act of “ceasefire violation”.
This was the seventh incident of ceasefire violation since July 1 in Jammu region.
Defence sources maintained that though six to eight Indian forward posts received fire from Pakistan side, yet Kirpan, Kranti, Chajja one and Ravi posts were the main target of Pak troops. Firing came from an equal number of Pakistan posts mainly from Daku, Yellow Bump, Kaduu posts between 12.50 am to 2.30 am.
