PC hasn’t got accreditation pass as yet

Among the many blunders, which the CWG Organising Committee has committed in the run-up to the Games, it added one more by not issuing the accreditation pass to home minister P. Chidambaram, the man who ensured a full-proof security for the mega-sporting event.

After the Cabinet Committee on Security briefing, Mr Chidambaram was chatting with reporters about the security arrangements for the Games.
When asked, had he visited any of the Games venues, the home minister shot back, saying he had not yet been provided with “accreditation pass” to enter any of the venues.
This shows how strict is the system “we have placed”, that does not allow even the home minister to enter without valid pass.
