People join Army to die, says Bihar minister

Patna: Bihar Rural Works and Panchayati Raj Minister Bhim Singh on Thursday stirred a controversy with his insensitive remark on Army jawans. When media persons asked why no JD(U) minister was at the funeral of jawans who died at LoC, he said, "people join forces only to die."
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was quick to reprimand his colleague and asked the minister to tender unconditional apology.
BJP lashed out at the minister and said "people of the country will never tolerate such insults to the martyrs".
His remark also invited a lot of angry remarks from twitterattis. @CAABTRI tweeted, "seems its not jus BJP who split form JD(U) but #sense too has split from their minds". avinashbhat0124s said, "Did kids join school,eat Mid-Day meal to die?"(sic) .
