Plenary goes without T
Hyderabad, Dec. 19: There is no mention of the Congress’ stand on a separate Telangana in the AICC report on the important affairs of Andhra Pradesh since 2006.
In the 484-page special report prepared and submitted to the AICC by Congress general secretaries and in-charges at the Congress plenary in New Delhi, eight pages were devoted solely to AP affairs. However, the report failed to mention either the statement of the the Union home minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, on Telangana on December 9, 2009, or the appointment of the Justice Srikrishna Committee to look into the situation prevailing in the state.
There was also no mention of the demands — for and against Telangana — of Congress MPs from the state.
