PM at airport for Obama

Setting aside protocol, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will personally receive US President Barack Obama when he arrives at Delhi airport on Sunday.
Dr Singh, who is expected to be accompanied by his wife Gursharan Kaur, will greet Mr Obama and US First Lady Michelle Obama when they arrive from Mumbai Sunday afternoon, extending a rare gesture.
Dr Singh had made a similar gesture when Mr Obama’s immediate predecessor, Mr George W. Bush, had visited India in March, 2006.
