‘PM like CEO working on owner orders’

Accusing Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of “working as a CEO” on the orders of the “owner” of the company, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley on Tuesday said there were “structural contradictions” in the ruling dispensation.

He also slammed the government for the crackdown on Baba Ramdev and his followers. “The structure of the government is rare in the whole world. In any democratic country, the Prime Minister is the leader of the country. Here you are running the show on the structure of a private company. You have a professional CEO and the owner is somebody else,” Mr Jaitley said while addressing a party function.
