Prime Minister Manmohan Singh greets people on occasion of Holi

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Saturday greeted the people on the joyous occasion of Holi and described the festival of colours as a celebration of the diversity of the country.

"The spring festival symbolises hope and a new beginning and strengthens the bond of brotherhood among the people", he said hoping that the festival would usher in happiness and prosperity to the people.
