Prohibitory orders in Hyderabad from today
Hyderabad: City police commissioner Anurag Sharma on Thursday issued prohibitory order in the twin cities from August 23 to 29. The police chief said that any public meeting or and processions will not be allowed without prior permission from police.
Gathering of persons on the public roads or public places disturbing peace and order or causing inconvenience, annoyance or danger to public is prohibited.
Carrying of arms such as swords, spears, knives, sticks with or without flags, bludgeons, guns, explosives etc. are also prohibited, the commissioner stated in a media release.
The order also includes use of mikes or any other public address system around the Secretariat premises, including Burgula Rama Krishna Rao Building, GHMC Building, commissioner of fisheries building, Mint Compound, Nizam College and its surroundings, AP Legislative Assembly premises and surrounding roads, Pub-lic Gardens, Upper Tank bund, Prasad’s I–max, Rotary and NTR Marg and also the flyover road leading from Secretariat to Visweswarayya statue, Khairatabad.
