Rahul mobile phone stolen from baggage at IGI, found
AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi’s mobile phone was stolen from New Delhi’s IGI Airport a few days ago, but was recovered within days from a baggage loader, who admitted he stole it from Mr Gandhi’s baggage, sources said Monday.
Mr Gandhi, who reportedly returned to New Delhi from an overseas visit, realised when he got home from the airport that the phone was missing from his checked-in baggage.
The SPG alerted the CISF, and in the investigation two baggage loaders were identified, one of whom confessed to the theft. No case was registered, and the culprit’s fate is not known.
