Rahul says he’ll wed ‘bahut jaldi’

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi indicated on Wednesday he was all set to marry “very soon”.
While interacting with people in Amethi in the morning, he casually asked an elderly man if he wanted anything. The answer: all he wanted was to see his MP married.

Smiling, Rahul said this would happen “bahut jaldi”, and walked on, leaving the crowd clapping with joy. Mr Gandhi has been dodging questions on the subject for a while.
News of younger cousin Varun Gandhi planning to marry in February 2011 has apparently added to the “pressure” on Mr Gandhi.
