Rajasthan Cong gears up for Sandesh Yatra

The ruling Congress has geared up to launch its Sandesh Yatra to highlight the party’s achievement and showcase developmental work undertaken by the state government. Congress general secretary, and in-charge for the state, Mukul Wasnik will flag off the yatra on Saturday from the party office in Jaipur in presence of PCC chief Dr Chandarbhan and chief minister Ashok Gehlot.

The Congress Sandesh Yatra is being looked at as a counter-measure to BJP president Vasundhara Raje’s much-hyped Suraj Sanklap Yatra to be flagged off on April 4. The Congress leaders have scheduled the yatra to touch each and every constituency in poll-bound Rajasthan.
