Rajasthan: Youth rapes FB ‘friend’

A Facebook friend allegedly raped a Jaipur-based girl in Kota on Sunday night. The accused, Manish Saini, who is a software engineer, raped the victim and later handed her over to his friend to rape her. The police in Kota launched a manhunt to arrest Manish and his friend Nandkishore, an engineer student.

According to the police, Manish befriended the victim through Facebook. The victim said Manish won her trust and they exchanged phone numbers and talked on the phone for two weeks. The victim said she reached Kota on Sunday when Manish invited her to join him there. The software engineer took her to a rented room where they had dinner. The victim said she was served cold drink which had alcohol mixed in it.
The police said Manish raped her and later his friend Nandkishore raped her too.
The victim insisted that they drop her at the railway station on Monday.
Nandkishore took her on a bike pretending to drop her railway station but thrashed her and threw her from the bike. The victim sustained injuries and was left with broken teeth.
