Relief for Lalu as SC pauses fodder verdict
Former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, main accused in the 17-year-old fodder scam, got partial relief Tuesday as the Supreme Court restricted the trial court from delivering its verdict next week.
The RJD chief had sought shifting of the trial to another court as CBI special judge P.K. Singh is a relative of a minister in Bihar’s Nitish Kumar government.
