Secunderabad hotel collapse: Owner of City Light ‘scoots’
Hyderabad: Police is unable to locate City Light Hotel owner Syed Hassan Boluki, who was admitted to a private hospital following a heart attack after the hotel’s collapse last week. Police want to question Boluki on various aspects that led to the collapse which claimed 17 lives.
Boluki, who lost his son and a relative in the incident, suffered a heart attack and was rushed to Gandhi Hospital. After a few hours, he was shifted to a private hospital.

City Light Hotel owner Syed Hassan Boluki was found missing when the police went to check on him two days after he was shifted to a private hospital in the city.
He had earlier told the police that the building documents were lost in the debris and they are yet to find out in whose name the building is registered. He has not responded to any of their queries subsequently.
Mahankali assistant commissioner of police M. Mahender said Boluki had not left the city, and police would arrest him when the time came. “Once the investigations reach the stage when we have to arrest him, we will make the arrest,” he said.
Meanwhile, two bodies found at the site of the mishap have not been identified. One is that of a youth aged between 16 and 19 and another aged between 20 and 25. Both are at the Gandhi Hospital mortuary.
