Security ring around Naidu
In view of protests by the Telangana activists, the district police plans to throw an unprecedented security cover around Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu, who will enter into Nizamabad district on November 27.
Naidu, on his Vastunna Meekosam padayatra, is expected to enter the district late in the night from Medak district.
National Security Guards, state and district police personnel will provide security to the TD chief.
DSP Vikram Jeet Duggal reviewed the security arrangements for Naidu’s tour in Nizamabad on Monday. It must be remembered that Mr Naidu, a former CM, is given Z-plus security. In addition to this, the state and district officials have been providing security for him during his marathon padayatra.
Meanwhile, police officers have kept watch on movements of Telangana protagonists in the district.
The police has already asked the Telangana leaders not to create law and order problems during the Naidu’s padayatra.
