Seven years jail for cheating minor girl

Anantpur: The Additional Sessions court here on Wednesday sentenced seven years imprisonment to a person and his parents in connection with cheating a minor girl in the name of marriage. According to the police, Venkataramana, his wife Radhamma and their son Mukesh Kumar of Azad Nagar in Anantapur, had cheated a16-year-old minor girl in the name of marriage.
Mukesh Kumar had raped the minor girl and a case was registered in Three Town police station in Anantapur against Mukesh Kumar and his parents in September 2012.
The prosecution has proved the charges against the trio.The AdditionalAssistant Sessions Judge Satyavani sentenced seven years imprisonment and Rs 5,000 penalty for Mukesh Kumar and three years imprisonment for his parents--Venkataramana and Radhamma.
